The main lodging (honjin) in Nirasaki-juku was located a few 10s of meters south of Ueda Store, which had a stone to hitch horses. Lords passed through Nirasaki-juku, but generally did not stay overnight. The main role of the main lodging was administrative work related to the movement of Tokugawa Government officials and their luggage to the next post station. A stone monument marks the site of the main lodging.
