Saruhashi Park is located near the Saruhashi Bridge, which is connected to the park by a 150 m-long promenade. About 3,000 hydrangeas line both sides of the promenade. On a Sunday in late June each year when the hydrangeas are in full bloom, the Saruhashi Bridge Hydrangea Festival is held. The park also has a lawn square and playground with slides and other equipment.
