There is a story about an old lady was walking with a stone cane that broke. The lady stuck half of the cane into the slope, and the other half into the ground at the foot of Mount Iwadono. A railway track now blocks the slope and we cannot walk through it. However, the location shows the atmosphere of the old Koshu-kaido Road.
