A glance upstream of Hishaku Nagaregawa River from Satouchi Bridge provides a view of two streams of water falling from a cliff on the left side of the river. These twin waterfalls are about 30 meters high, and comprise part of the Tokaichiba and Natsugari Falls that are selected among the “100 Exquisite and Well-conserved Waters of the Heisei Period.”
Spring water seeps out from throughout the surface of the cliff from where the waterfalls drop, bathing the area in a pleasantly cool air. The cold, clear flow of the waterfalls looks just like white shower curtains.
