Akasawa-shuku Museum stands on the same grounds of Guesthouse Osaka-ya. It is also an old inn building, and exhibits items that show us the history and lifestyle of people in Akasawa-shuku. The first floor exhibits barrels, tubs, baskets and other daily commodities, and second floor exhibits tableware, daily necessities, books, and family photos of residents in the settlement of Akasawa. It is usually locked so if you would like to visit the museum, please ask the staff at the guesthouse to unlock the door.
