Kuron-ji Temple is also known as a beautiful cherry blossom site. There are 400-year-old weeping cherry trees in front of the Soshi-do Hall and Buddha Hall on the grounds of the temple that attract visitors from far and wide. The best season to view cherry blossoms here is from late March to early April. Blossoms blooming on long branches gently tremble in the breeze. The sight of the beautiful blossoms at the historical temple is very mystical. In addition to these cherry trees, Minobu Town has many weeping cherry trees growing in different locations that attract many visitors in season.
