Entering toward the Kamanashi River from the Koshu-kaido Road, there is a road that continues intermittently for about 500 meters. The reason for the intermittent embankment was to gradually release water during times of flooding. Looking down one Nirasaki-juku from the embankment, you will feel the important role that the embankment played, and individual life of people who lived with the history of flooding in Nirasaki-juku.
