Oku-no-in Inner Temple at Shichimenzan (Mount Shichimen) Keishin-in Temple

Oku-no-in is a temple, standing at 40 chome, which has a nice view of the area, along the north approach from Sumise to the peak of Mount Shichimen. It stands in front of the Yogo-seki Stone, from which it gets its name, Yogo-no-Miya. Jori-ji Temple and Honjo-ji Temple in Ichikawa-Misato Town, Yamanashi Prefecture send their Chief Administrators (betto) every four years by turns. The temple was built in the Enpo Period (1673-1681) by Nippo Shonin. main hall was rebuilt in the Horeki Period (1751-1764) and in 1887. The temple also welcomes individuals who wish to stay at the temple to pray for a few days and holds summer training programs.
