There is a large rock with a sacred Shinto straw festoon decorated with ceremonial pieces of cut paper near the Oku-no-in Inner Temple at Shichimenzan (Mount Shichimen) Keishin-in Temple. This rock is a sacred place where it is believed that the Shichimen-Daimyojin Deity appeared, giving it its name, Yogo which means “gods and Buddha appearing in temporary forms.” Because the “shichimen” in Mount Shichimen means “seven surfaces,” it is said that walking around the rock seven times makes wishes come true.
